Ashley Roberts: I was told by the girl I spoke with over the phone
that she was going to send me a new cord to connect from my tv to the
box but I have not received it yet and I think that I have allowed
enough time

Ashley Roberts: I am also having major issues with my remotes they
don't work hardly at al anymore and I have changed the batteries 2
times in the past 4 or 5 days
Ashley Roberts: Right now it is Scooby Doo
Ashley Roberts: it was snow from 1:00 last night until about 10 minutes ago

Ashley Roberts: More like 2 months ago but when it started it would
only be "snowy" for a few seconds now it will last for a few hours
sometimes.
Ashley Roberts: When it wasbrief I didn't mind but not being able to
have the tv on in the living room is pretty annoying.
(24DrDepT) David S. PWT: I understand.
(24DrDepT) David S. PWT: It seems we will have to replace the unit
just like the previous agent suggested.
Ashley Roberts: Well do you not think that it could be the cord like
she suggested?
Ashley Roberts: I really hate to loose all the things that I have
recoreded. But if that is the only way I understand.
(24DrDepT) David S. PWT: Correct the cord wouldn't be the issue at this point.
Ashley Roberts: ok
Ashley Roberts: how does it work getting a new unit?
(24DrDepT) David S. PWT: I can ship that out to you.
Ashley Roberts: Then I just hook it up myself I guess. I am sure it
is pretty self explanitory.
(24DrDepT) David S. PWT: I see you have the warranty so there would be
no charge.
Ashley Roberts: Oh cool I didn't realize I had that!!
(24DrDepT) David S. PWT: When you receive your equipment please read
the instructional letter first. If you do not ship us the
malfunctioning equipment within ten days after you receive the
replacement unit, your DISH Network account will be charged. Some
equipment is excluded and need not be returned. Follow the
instructions enclosed. If your equipment is returned and our testing
department determines that there is customer damage, the warranty will
be void. Please return only the malfunctioning equipment. Your return
authorization number is 38552235. Please write your RA number on the
outside of the box. We are shipping your equipment by UPS BLUE 2ND
DAY and you should receive it in 2 days.
Ashley Roberts: ok what about remotes since they are not working
right either? Is that inclued int he new equipment? andassume there
is no way to transfer the thigs I have recorded right.
(24DrDepT) David S. PWT: Correct there is no way to transfer the recordings.
Ashley Roberts: ok that kindof stinks but owell.

get over it!!

(24DrDepT) David S. PWT: The remotes do not come with the receiver.
You will have to order them once you get the new box.
